Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This Very Stylish bedroom suite has most fortunately survived together as one when so many others have been separated, each piece has its original chrome and green bakelite handles and they all have 2 very stylish decorative embossed and enamelled plaques on the front set into a carved border
The suite is in the odeon stepped and arched style, it has large scrolled ball feet
set on bowed stretchers
There is a hanging Wardrobe, this is 77” high x 19” deep x 36” wide, this has a shelf with a hanging rail and hood beneath and on the door a chrome tie rack, this piece could be dismantled to aid transport
The Dressing Table has a large tilting mirror and a stool, 2 drawers and a small shelf to one side
There is also a chest of Drawers which has a small gallery at the back and 3 long drawers. 38” tall, 26” wide and 19” deep
This set is in good condition, some the lime has worn away
