An Excellent Silver Double Stamp Box

1900 - 1920
Description

An excellent silver double stamp box dating from the Edwardian period. This charming piece has a semi circular body raised on four ball feet. The lid has two glazed windows displaying original one penny stamps and is sprung loaded. The original red leather is found to the underside of the lid and the interior is is fully gilded with a partition to the centre. A lovely usable piece of deskware. Dimensions below.
