A 1930s Silver Limit No 2 Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1930s silver Limit No 2 pocket watch.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement, made by Thommen for Limit… it is working nicely.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1937 with a maker’s mark for the English company, A L Dennison… the movements were often imported into the UK to be cased in readiness for onward retail. Overall the case is in good condition with just minor surface marks and a little unevenness to the case back.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The signed white enamel dial is in very nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.
