It is a good size with nice proportions and every aspect of the bookcase is superb quality.
The bookcase does split into two sections for ease of movement and transport.
It is in good condition throughout and is a clean sturdy piece of furniture. It is not without some minor signs of age and use and there are some light scratches on the top surface and also a small split in the very back top moulding (see photos) but nothing detrimental. There are some historic wodworm holes on one side but this hasn't affected it structurally or aesthetically and they have been treated as a precuation. It has been cleaned and has a nice smooth waxed finish and is ready for the home.
