Description

Fine Quality Antique 19th century carved oak box settle .

The settle is constructed of solid oak with fine hand carved panels to the back and front ,it has a lift up seat that provides great storage ideal for boots and shoes .

The settle is in good condition for its great age ,the lift up seat has has some shrinkage and signs of wear to the front plinth .and has had a later hasp fitted , none of this is detrimental to the item it just adds character to this wonderful antique .
