River in Summer - Antique Oil Painting

1920 - 1940
Description

Summer landscape showing a view of a river by the Belgium artist Oswald Poreau - Belgium School 1877 - 1955. Poreau was trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels in painting and architecture. He then continued his training in Paris in 1905 and was active in Barbizon.

The oil on panel is in excellent condition, is signed and dated 1937 by the artist. It is mounted in a simple wooden frame.
