Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The seats have been recently recovered in a pink fabric over the existing upholstery which is in good condition.

Fairly solid and sturdy – some slight movement to the joints. One chair has a well-executed old repair to the back/upright (see photo). Lovely figuring to the mahogany. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is sound.
