1930 Elgin Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930 Elgin pocket watch.

The watch has a beautifully patterned stem-winding movement, grade 303, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 32,244,881 dates it back to 1930.

The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case is beautifully detailed and in very nice condition. The lens is in good condition too.

The silvered signed dial has a charming appearance with an ornate centre, blued steel hands and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
