Description

A Waltham half hunter pocket watch, 1928.

The watch has a Traveler grade movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 26,887,371 dates it back to 1928. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in good condition, just a little rubbing to the front where it has been in a pocket over the years. There are enamel filled Roman numerals to the front cover, surrounding a small lens which has a little marking.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, the lens is in good condition.

The signed white dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
