Unusual Antique Cauldron Shaped Oak & Silver Plate Barrel

A very unusual antique cauldron shaped oak and silver plated mounted barrel with a gallery of festooned garlands around the neck, a circular pull off plain lid, two cast looped attached side handles, an empty shield shaped cartouche and standing on three cast scroll feet. In very good re-plated condition. Date: Circa 1900. Weight: 1.42kg.
