Description

A quality English Georgian period fusee dial wall clock. A mahogany case with a cast brass bezel to the dial surround. A painted dial with tapered 'moon' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism with tapered pillars.

The Yonge family are noted clockmakers. William is recorded in Baillies' 'Clockmakers and Watchmakers of The World' book as working from 1801-1825.

Width 14" / 36 cms Depth 6" / 15 cms.
