Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This is an amazing find, 5 Matching 19th Century Bakers Biscuit Tins, these are larger than the domestic type of storage tins, they are in a light green colour, the name of each type of Biscuit which are kept in each one is written on the front

The tins are curved at the front and flat at the back, they have have tight fitting hinged lids, they are in relatively good condition especially considering they are about 150 years old, and still usable

The paint is in sound if a little shabby, gold and red decoration on the pale green background
The tins are 15” high and 15” wide and 9” deep at the centre
