A fabulous late 16th century Flemish cupboard from the region of Brabant. The cupboard is of heavy oak construction with large wrought iron hinges some of them later 17th century replacements. There are three original working locks with the original keys. Behind the three cupboard doors is a shelved interior. The cupboard has had a few old repairs and is complete with original back boards. It has had a few areas of worm damage but nothing major commiserate with age. The overall condition is superb and the cupboard has a fantastic deep red colour to the patina.
