19th C Brass Centre Light

Description

A 19th century Brass Centre Light.

The hanging loop above a ringed socle, holding the stem, of hexagonal waisted profile, tapering to a hexagonal knop, and thence the hexagonal boss finished to the top and bottom edges with rounded stepped mouldings.

From the boss emerge six branches, sweeping toward ring socles, holding hexagonal drip pans and gun barrel shaped candle holders.

The underside of the boss finished with a hexagonal and rounded finial.

Re wired and ready for use.
