Rare Scottish Wemyss ware Ure Damsons or plums. The Ure is very rare in this pattern. Ures are rare now in any pattern but compared to the rose pattern there are 10 rose to 1 Plum pattern. I think there are 4-5 rose pattern Ures for sale in the UK at present ranging from 500 – 2000. I think this is the only Plum Ure for sale anywhere I have seen in many years of Wemyss ware trading. And my favourite pattern of all, fresh bright colours, simply stunning.
