Antique Oak Tabletop Linen Press

19th century
Description

A charming tabletop linen press table dating from the late 19th Century. It is made from oak with a single drawer with a turned wooden handle. The press has a wooden winding handle and large wooden screw. It is a simple design which has created a beautiful and tactile piece of furniture.

It is in good condition throughout and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of use and age but overall is a very clean and honest piece of furniture. There is a small chip near the handle and there are some signs of historic worm which have been treated as a precaution and haven't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been given a clean and a wax and is ready for use or display.

Height (screwed down) : 31" (79cm)

Width : 26" (66cm)

Depth : 14 1/2" (37cm)
