The frieze having good quality scrolling and coloured inlay with cast ormolu mounts. The 3 doors along with the ends have further banding, boxwood and ebony stringing, ormolu mounts and plate glass with working locks and keys. The breakfront shape is beautifully emphasised by the tapering turned and reeded columns which have ormolu Corinthian capitals, swags and floral leaf bases. The doors open to reveal the original blue velvet lined interiors, the shelves with satinwood and inlaid fronts. This fine quality cabinet stands on an off set plinth satinwood base with further purple heart banding and a central ormolu mount. Condition:- Very good.
