The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. On the photo of the movement, there are two empty retaining screw holes... these screws are not needed as the movement is held in place by the fitted casing.
The watch measures 25.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks on the hinged case back for Glasgow 1931.
The lens is good condition.

The dial has a charming appearance with plenty of Art Deco styling. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an inner minute marker.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
