Description

Superb mid 18th.c. Welsh oak dresser base, from the Dolgellau area of Snowdonia c.1760. Broad three plank top over three drawers and three individual cupboards (quite an unusual feature). Raised and fielded drawer fronts and ogee door panels, note the extra shaping to the centre door panel. Good early timbers with a particularly good colour and patina. Oak panelled sides and rear, original oak cupboard dividers and floorboards. Excellent condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
