Tall chest of Drawers, veneered in Rosewood with attractive marquetry panels and original ormolu fittings. French C 1880. Also known as a Semanier, this antique chest retains a terrific

mellow antique patination.

There are 6 smoothly running drawers, with working locks, escuchions and a working key. The top is capped off with a mottled veined marble

The sides are beautifully cross banded and the marquetry panels are really well done. A superb Semanier, with plenty of storage,
