This is a large and very heavy piece (best estimate 200kgs) the iron has a central scene of Abraham offering the sacrifice of Issac, this scene is set in a roundel and it is flanked by phoenix rising from the bottom

The plaque shows signs of its 300 years of age but it is sound and there have are no repairs
This delightful piece will serve well in an Inglenook or similar fireplace, a plan to install it will be required it takes several people to lift it

The Fire back is an original piece and in sound used condition, it is 45” wide and 35” high and 2” thick in places
