Antique Folding Carved Oak Monks Bench Box C1920

Description

Antique folding Carved Oak Monks Bench and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality oak the backrest with incised carving folds down to form a table top with incised carving and moulded edge. This is supported on shaped armrests and leading to the boxed seat which when raised reveals storage space. To the front it is heavily carved and it stands on style feet.

MEASURES: 38” HIGH WHEN RAISED X 28.5” HIGH WHEN DOWN X 18.5” DEEP X 36” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
