Large Gilded Cushion Frame Mirror C.1890.

Description

Large late 19th.c. gilt frame wall mirror c.1890. Original 24" x 32" bevelled mirror plate set within a broad carved and pierced cushion frame with the original top. Original gilt finish worn to a very attractive mellow gold. Obvious spotting tarnish to the mirror and some earlier repairs to the frame. Top piece can be easily removed if preferred in which case it could be hung either landscape or portrait aspect.
