A Handsome Art Deco Silver Match Book Holder

This is a handsome Art Deco silver match case holder with a gilded interior. The body is angled and decorated with engine turning and features a foliar panel to the edges of the lid. These would have been used in place of the more usual vesta and would contain a match book with striker (included). An excellent and attractive collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or holes. There is some slight gilding loss internally, commensurate with age and use

Date :- Import marks for London 1932.
