Description

This fabulous VICTORIAN BEADWORK PANEL of FRUIT, behind glass and mounted against a gold plush fabric background, dates from circa 1860.

The design and use of many different coloured beads, in varying tones and shades, gives a naturalistic feel to the fruit.

The beadwork is beautifully worked with some colours laid in opposing directions to give added depth and interest.

The condition is good. The only signs of wear are to the very edge.
