Description

A truly exceptional and rare pen rest cast from solid English brass in the form of a stirrup and featuring two cast dogs. The top of the stirrup is finished with a belt and buckle.

The two pins to the front are where one would rest one's traditional dip pen. Victorian in era dating to c.1880, it has been professionally re-polished to gleam. Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" wide x 2" deep x 5 1/2" tall.
