Ruthin Oak Dresser BaseHere we have the most wonderful period oak dresser base from the Ruthin area of Denbighshire, Wales, dating from about the 1750,s this is a good early one.Having this T shaped drawer arrangement over 2 cupboards.Fitted with 3 fielded panel drawers along the top line, plus 2 short over 2 long drawers to the centre, all fitted with brass swan-neck handles.Doors have a shaped fielded panel centre with framework all with peg & joint construction. Having its original polish plus patina this dresser is a stunning unbelievable rich oak colour (please see pictures)Solid in all its joints, shrinkage to the boards on the top, which is typical to something of this age and all original.
