17th Century oak Mural cupboard with pierced doors for ventilation. These cupboards come in a many different forms and are all used for storing foods that require ventilation but also keep insects and vermin out. The cupboard has a four paneled molded door, the panels with fine vented patterns. The top rail and uprights that surround the door are carved , the door has a later 18th C lock and key still in working order. The cupboard has fantastic colour and patination and is in excellent condition.
