Small Marble Top Chest of Drawers C.1860.

Description

Pretty little mid 19th.c. marble top chest of drawers c.1860. Very useful small size, just 33½" wide. Superb 1¼" thick marble top with beautifully shaped and moulded edges. Over a bombe fronted chest of three drawers with elaborately moulded fronts in rosewood and quarter veneered kingwood panels on oak. Decorative pierced brass handles and escutcheon plates. Sides are also veneered and crossbanded to match the front. Shaped apron and front legs with brass mounts at the feet. Very good condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
