A superb large Edwardian walnut 3 part and freestanding pedestal desk.The serpentine shaped front with 3 frieze drawers having applied mouldings and ornate cast brass handles. The canted corners having carved harebells and conforming mouldings.The serpentine pedestals with panelled doors which both open to 3 drawer interiors. The sides and back outlined with further applied mouldings and the shaped top retains the original tooled leather writing surface. The whole raised on very good carved ogee bracket feet and the desk is complete with working locks and keys.Condition - Very good. Dimensions :- Height…30.75’’/ 78cm. Width…62’’/ 158cm.
