Rare Colonial Padouk Campaign Chest

Description

A rare small Colonial Padouk Campaign Chest of Drawers with narrow proportions. This chest splits in to 2 pieces, both sections with brass side carrying handles, having an arrangement of 2 short and 3 full length drawers all retaining the original inset handles, locks and escutcheons. The whole raised on the most wonderful solid rosewood gadrooned bun feet. Super colour, patina with a wealth of character. Anglo Indian, circa 1825.
