A Georgian mercury wheel barometer. A mahogany case with an architectural pediment and original brass finial. Fine inlays to the case and banding to the edges.

Gillando Broggi of Chelmsford is listed in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers book as working from 1815-1845. This example date to circa 1820.
