Antique oak and elm dresser base

This Antique oak and elm dresser base is of an unusual size, having 2 drawers of a good depth.

This small dresser base stands on turned legs that finish on pad feet to each corner. It is of a very good size and so will fit in many places around the home.

The top boards are made of solid oak, while the drawers and carcass are made of elm.

Often the estate carpenters would use the timber from trees that had been felled or fallen, to make pieces for the estate cottages and farm houses.

This dresser base really is attractive to the eye, as it is of a lovely honey colour, as well as being of a great small size.
