A superb silver and guilloche enamel vanity jar, wonderful style and colour. The cut glass is facetted crystal and is in an oblong shape. The lid is silver and has an absolutely stunning guilloche enamel lid of the most wonderful bright patina in a truly vivid blue, showcasing a lovely engine turned design.
Clear hallmarks for the London Assay Office are visible on the silver lid with a date mark for 1912, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker''s mark for L A Leins & Sons.
A beautiful jar, the enamelling is superb and the colour is mesmerising!
Condition: This jar is in great antique collector''s condition.
