George I Walnut Tall Boy

18th century
Description

George 1 walnut English tallboy chest. Superb shell carved cabriole leg shoulders, above receding carved tulips. Canted and fluted chest sides with all over cross-banded. This piece is in 2 parts. No bad repairs to mention although there are several character small splits n marks as you would expect with furniture handmade nearly 3 century’s ago. No sign of worm at all. Overall in very nice condition.
