A fabulous large Victorian English inkwell made from solid cast brass, beautifully executed with superb detail, this is a top quality example.
 
He is lucky enough to retain his two original glass eyes. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a removable glass ink chamber.
 
A truly impressive piece in excellent condition measuring 5'' x 4 1/4'' x 5 5/8'' tall.
