Queen Anne Style Burr Walnut Bureau

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming Edwardian period burr walnut bureau in the queen Anne style. Very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top, fall and drawer fronts are all cross banded. The fall front (lockable with key supplied) opens to reveal a fitted interior with small drawers, pigeon holes and a central cupboard. To the body of the bureau there is arrangement of 4 drawers , all fitted with their original brass handles. Standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved shell motifs to the knees and terminating in pad feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent overall condition , with a great colour and patina.
