Description

A gorgeous silver letter opener or paper knife dating from the late Victorian period, formed in the shape of a dagger. The silver hallmarked handle is decorated with acanthus leaf scroll work. Delicate engraved decoration is found to the shaped blade mounts. The blade is ivory and gently curved to the end. A delightful and collectable piece with practical uses. Dimensions below.
