Antique African Fertility Figure from Gabon c. 1930.

This is a nice large antique fertility figure from Gabon.

The wooden female figure is symbolically tied-up with shackles (made of grass) to the earth, her hands are milking her breast to

feed the earth.

The figure stands tall in a woven wicker basket and could be carried around where needed.

There is some slight wear and tear to the shackles.
