Japanese Satsuma Plate On Teal Ground Signed Kinkozan

A fine Japanese Meiji period Satsuma plate on the more scarcely seen teal ground with central cartouche decorated with an autumnal scene, depicting a woman with a young child in a basket, resting on a blanket as she repairs some fabric whilst the Maple leaves fall from the overhanging tree as they change colour. This beautifully decorated plate has a decorative gilt border with, red, mauve, and turquoise flowers in it, and is signed Kinkozan on the reverse along with impressed seal mark, some expected minor rubbing to gilding otherwise the plate is in excellent condition.
