A Mahogany Inlaid Shapland & Petter Display Cabinet.

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany inlaid Shapland & Petter display cabinet. With a flared moulded cornice to each end above stylised mother of pearl and satinwood inlaid panels with glazed doors beneath, enclosing the original silk lined shelves and back with fine patinated copper escutcheons. The central section also with mother of pearl and satinwood inlaid detail and a central bevelled mirror, above the lower cabinet section. Having further mother of pearl roundels and supported on a shaped stand with square tapering supports and block feet. Stamped S & P, B to the locks and a design number to the back. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 68" high x 48" wide x 15" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
