Large Arts & Crafts Oak Overmantle Mirror

Description

An impressive large (over 5ft wide) antique late Victorian framed mirror in a carved oak frame in Arts and Crafts style. With three oblong mirrors, surrounded by a foliate carved oak border below a shaped pelmet. In a nicely figured medium oak frame with age and wear commensurate with age. Could be used as a hall mirror or above a fireplace as an overmantle mirror. An unusual size, quite wide but not too high, so perfect where only a small height above a wide fireplace is available.

General wear, and marks to mirror and frame commensurate with age. Mirror plates are replacements. Some small black dots/loss of silvering to mirror in places..
