A Georgian Silver Novelty Pincushion

A charming item of Georgian sewing ware. This is a lovely silver pincushion in the form of a swing handle basket.

The base has basket weave design and the body has embossed shells and flowers. A delightful collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.

Hallmarks :- Marked with only the maker's mark inside the handle (not unusual for small items of Georgian silver).

Width :- 2.25 cms. (widest point).
