Elkington Three-piece Silver Plated Tea Set, 1860

Description

English Mid-Victorian Elkington silver plated three-piece tea set comprising of tea pot, cream jug and sugar bowl and include a pair of silver plated Victorian sugar tongs. All have engraved floral decoration with beautiful unicorn family crests and original gilded interiors to cream jug and sugar bowl. Have the Elkington date mark for 1860.

Teapot height: 6" (approx 15cm)

Teapot length: 10" (approx 25cm)

Teapot width: 6" (approx 15cm)

Jug height: 5" (approx 12.5cm)

Jug length: 4" (approx 10cm)

Jug width: 3 1/2" (approx 8.75cm)

Bowl height: 4" (approx 10cm)

Bowl Length: 7" (approx 17.5cm)

Bowl width: 5 1/2" (approx 13.75cm)

Tongs length: 6" (approx 15cm)

Total weight: 1445g

In good condition - any dark areas are shadows from the photography, there is no damage to the silver plate.
