Description

A 19th Century Smokers Bow, Captains Chair.

The arm rails sweeping round to outward shaped hand holds, and the rear centred by an outward scrolled back rest. The arm rail supported by ringed and tapered spindles, surrounding the saddled seat. The chair standing on ringed and tapered legs, slightly outward splayed, and joined by double stretchers.

Date c 1860.
