Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Made in France, the eye pieces are signed L. Petit Fabt., Paris, the bridge is singed Patent Hezzanith; the case is signed T. French and Sons Ltd., London, 1916, the leather is also impressed with the military crows foot.
They are fitted with shades to minimise glare in bright sunshine.

The leather case is in great polished antique condition.
Excellent condition, the binoculars measuring 5" x 2 3/8" x 5 1/2" expanding to 7" while sunshades are in operation. The case measuring 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 7".
