Beautiful English Sterling Silver Tea Caddy - Scottish Retailer

Description

More interesting and decorative than the usual caddy of this style, this one has a a decorated rim and a stunning cast pierced or reticulated skirt including the integral feet.

The knob to the top is made of carved ebony and is all intact. The hinged lid is in perfect working order, the hinge being without damage or repair.

There is a full hallmark to the body of the caddy and a partial on the interior of the lid; the mark is for London 1912 together with the makers mark for George Jackson & David Fullerton.

The underside has the added benefit of being engraved by the famous Scottish retailer Mackay and Chisholm / Edinburgh.

Excellent condition measuring 3 3/4" wide x 3" deep x 4 1/2" tall to top of finial.
