A truly handsome and hefty Victorian padlock made from polished steel and brass with the most magnificent working key.

The cover to the escutcheon is engraved with the makers mark Barron's Patent Lock and V.R. for Victorian Regina (Queen Victoria).

Dating to c.1860 and in working condition, it measures 5" x 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". The key measuring 3 1/4" in length. An excellent example.
