It is in very good condition for its age. The upholstery is generally clean and free from any major wear and rips. It has faded slightly with age but the velvet looks very good.
The wood has developed a nice aged patina and the grain is beautiful. It is free from any major knocks or splits and is overall a sturdy construction. There are some small marks and minor knocks around the base but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully and is certainly a very usable piece.
