This FINE PAIR OF BLUE & WHITE TRANSFER PRINTED SAUCE TUREENS date from circa 1840. They bear the Pattern Name, 'HELMSLEY CASTLE, YORKSHIRE', in an ornate cartouche, to the base.

They are in good condition with just a few minor glaze nicks and a very small surface chip to the underside rim of one cover.

There are no cracks or restoration.
